Alain "We had a super stay at Le Morne which is definitely one of the most beautiful areas of the island. The villa was perfect for us, two couples, and we felt just like at home there. We enjoyed enormously the magnificent ocean view from the terrace and the infinity pool. The landlord was very kind and helpful and gave us useful advice. Also the house-maid was very nice. We even got a tip or two from her about how to prepare food a la mauricienne! All in all we would warmly recommend this villa for a relaxed vacation in Mauritius." Very clean, quiet and friendly. The Brabant Mountain view is amazing as the villa is located at the bottom of the mountain and overlooks the sea. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and I am definitely planning another trip back as soon as possible!" Michael “Maison très bien équippée, très lumineuse et très spacieuse, cadre enchanteur. La piscine privée est avec bain à remous. La cuisinière prépare de bons plats mauriciens. La route qui mène à la plage passe en contrebas, et donc on ne voit pas les voitures. Belle plage à 1 km. Le proprietaire est très gentil et à l`écoute. Nous essaierons de revenir.” Florent "We stayed at Jean-Phillippe’s villa for half of our holiday. JP was ready to arrange our transfer from the airport. On our arrival day we got there about 9.00am. He supplied fresh bread, milk, butter, fruit, fruit juice and jam (you must try Guava, we ended eating jam every day). And he organised for us to have home cooked lunch ready. He really is lovely, genuine chap. The property is older build with slightly aged interior. I would possibly describe it more like a cabin. But it is family’s second home and I think that made our Mauritius stay more authentic. However, all important utilities are there. I did not even noticed the dishwasher until the day I left. I was too busy enjoying looking out of window when washing up. You see the whole mountain and it has rather distinct sound when wind swishes past it up high (without a leaf moving down low). We did hire a car and travelled around so I think I have good idea of pros and cons of other rentals. And I have to say, I made brilliant choice with JP property. After all there are helicopter pleasure flights (about £500) flying over (sometimes two day and sometimes none) with people sitting up there thinking “Wow! I wish I was there…” Also there was time when we watched full moon over the pool. Following evening we went for walk along PUBLIC beach in front of expensive hotels and I realised that people there could not see the full moon from their side. JP recommended lovely boat owner to take you out to see dolphins, do snorkelling or fishing, who was very respectful of the wildlife and who followed the rules to keep dolphins safe. My 8 year old son loved to pretend to be barman at the bar, the pool and the pearl spa function at section of the pool and the hammock. Anyway I am sorry if this review seems long.
